A journey through the history of science with a High Striker that shows how everyday objects from now are connected to a chain of scientific discoveries from the past.
For the exhibition 'Huygens' in the 'Grote Kerk' in Den Haag The Spullenmannen made a meters high tree of life of the big discoveries in science. The visitor selects an invention by Christiaan Huygens from an old cabinet and hits a pedal. A dial fies up and takes you on a journey through history, touching upon the great and small ideas that have brought us to where we are now.
